The proceedings of the Des collectivités actives tournées vers le Saint-Laurent (Active Communities Focused on the St. Lawrence) can now be accessed on line. Citizens who are committed to the protection and enhancement of the St. Lawrence River will find summarized the work of forum participants, whether lectures, workshops or the presentations offered as part of the grande virée des collaborations. The document contains a number of ideas and suggests occasions for strengthening collaboration among stakeholders within a context of sustainable development.

The forum, a collaborative effort among Stratégies Saint-Laurent and the partners of the St. Lawrence Plan, was held in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, in March 2009. The event brought together some 150 stakeholders from different spheres of the private sector as well as representatives of municipal, provincial and federal governments. It provided an ideal setting to discuss issues relating to the St. Lawrence and share ideas on courses of action.
