Habitat management work has recently been conducted in the Lake Saint-Pierre area. Among these, three watercourses in the Baie-du-Febvre sector have been restored and an agroforestry plot was created at the Bertco farm in 2012. Wildlife monitoring was carried out in 2012 and 2018 in order to evaluate the response of wildlife to this habitat management. This report presents the results of the anuran (toad, frog) surveys conducted at these sites. Five species of anurans (American toad, wood frog, leopard frog, green frog, spring peeper) were identified in 2018 during the surveys along the restored watercourses. Although species abundance varied somewhat between the 2012 and 2018 surveys, there was no general trend to demonstrate a short-term impact of the management on anuran populations at these sites. No anuran species were found in the agroforestry plot at the Bertco farm in either 2018 or 2012.
